The Lord Jesus Christ wanted us to make a positive contribution to His creation. Our ego should be buried in Him; He alone has the power to heal fallen creation.

Mankind, part of that fallen creation, wallowing in his sin filled ego, thinks up a religion. He knows his fallen state, his sin. He looks and sees so many religions, all parallel, all man made. He is confused by these parallel religions none of which meet his need. So, perhaps, he turns to one to ‘become a drop of water in the ocean’.The leadership of our church, part of that fallen creation, says, ‘there are many ways to Heaven’.

The Holy Spirit, sent by Jesus Christ after his ascension, comes to those who humbly trust Jesus to forgive their sins and through Johns writings tells us the words of Jesus. Jesus says (emphatically) I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the father except through me (John 14 v 6). Note well, ‘I’ & ‘the’ emphatically singular. There are many spirits but only God’s Holy Spirit can lead us to be reconciled, healed, forgiven, through Jesus death on the Cross.

Perfect Love overcomes fear

People need to know that they are loved by the Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated in His death and resurection.

Without this certainty the church has nothing to offer and the church becomes a religion which are all man made.

True Christianity is a positive force leading to a lack of fear because we have peace with God. Fear goes hand in hand with punishment; the Lord Jesus Christ took our punishment, He loves us so much we do not need to fear if we believe in Him. Religion, man made, leads to destructive forces being unleashed, leading to death mortal and eternal. The Generosity of God astounds us, our sins all forgiven, peace with God, the promised certainty of eternal life, what a fantastic gift. That is not man made religion, the Pharasaical 'sad u c',the dangerous ‘leaven’ of religion.

Embrace Christianity, enjoy being loved by God, praise God for the 'peace of God which passes all understanding'. God changes our fear by His love to gratitude.

The Lord Jesus Christ risked everything to express His Love even the jelosy of the religious authorities. Only He can deal with this sin, only he can heal. All of our efforts, our bowing, our 'correct proceedure' are a waste of time; we need to reflect His (Agape) Love. He is more keen to give than we are to receive, all we have to do is praise Him in thanksgiving. The poison of jealosy killed the pharisees, eternally. The Love of (from) God gives life, eternally. Let us go forward, singing, dancing, shouting praise to God.
